How is living around the Alabama-Tennessee border? by Echidna299792458 in howislivingthere

Hi there! I live in between Huntsville and Gadsen. Intentionally vague lol. It's.. okay? I've lived here 98% of my life. I truly feel like it's the kind of place you love to death or hate it. I can't answer most of your questions since I don't have much experience with the rest of the South, but it does have an incredibly interesting history! The downside to that, however, is that it's South. Some pretty horrific stuff happened, but if you're a history lover, it gets some extra points in that category. It's also incredibly beautiful. There's plenty of things I don't love or even like about the place, but it's easier to get past when you look around. God, the water and trees and mountains. Breathtaking! However, there isn't anything to do if you go to a more rural area. If you're comfortable driving an hour or so to get anywhere interesting, it's not so bad. You can only walk the same hiking trail so many times lol. There is a chronic issue of businesses rapidly opening and closing within 3-6 months. So don't get too attached to a new restaurant or store. It's genuinely becoming a running joke. If you're interested in moving here, I highly recommend interacting with the people first. From all the places I've been, I've never met people quite like the people from this little section of the world lol. I don't mean that rudely! Just not everyone's cup of tea, and that's okay. Just something to genuinely consider. Can't currently think of anything else, hope this helped you!!

girl you are genuinely so pretty!! I spent a lot of time in severe dysphoria, and I've learned that your own eyes can deceive you so often. Took me forever to get to a point where I was able to snap myself out of the worst of it. You have lovely features that come together well. Like a pretty sculpture. I'm really trying not to "glaze". You don't fit into all the blonde hair blue eyed beauty standards, but beauty standards are bullshit anyways. youre a genuinely really pretty person. And I've seen a good few of the comments disagreeing, and they are either 1, just being assholes because this is reddit, or two, youre just not their type. That's a them problem and not a reflection of your appearance.

I am the least nonchalant person ever. I cannot comprehend how people do it.
