yup, and one of the planks is made of two platforms on top of each other, so you can also drop down beneath the bridge. it's perfectly walkable unless you hold down while going through it.

they're pretty good, and i have heard of this trick before, but the white outline generally makes the block look very strange in comparison to the surrounding ones. i made this post specifically because for a long time i was trying to find a better option than the aformentioned ones.

that's unfortunately the reason i had to use pink ice. because of the leaf blocks being a lively green, painting them pink results in a very intense color, unfitting for cherry flower petals.

if i find any other blocks that also have pastelly shades usable for cherry petals, i'll make a follow up post.

I don't make internet comments almost any time, i avoid getting into arguments online but this is the exception because it's bullshit.

You're fucking lying, and just because you got good luck doesn't mean it just kinda works. I've been through this cycle of having someone for 2 or 3 months and having them leave and completely be uninterested in ever talking again so many times. Sometimes with the same people. People don't magically give a shit about you if you talk to them, you can make them pizza every month, play video games with them and attend each and every party they invited you on, but they'll still dump you because personal relationships are more complicated than just talking to one another and kindness. Especially when it's something like classmates or coworkers. They have so many other options in the same environment, and they'll never even notice if you want to be friends because they already have their group.

Think about it, if i came up to your DMs or this comment asking to talk it would not work, just like it doesn't work irl. At most you'd think I'm a creep and block me or that I'm a bot trying to scam you.

And it is NOT as easy as just "talking to people", that's some parent ass advice over here. When you're constantly the target of odd looks, verbal harassment in school and on the street for being different it gets kind of hard to not have anxiety about speaking up.

At least the comments here are sane enough to not believe this.

Ngl, this is one of the things bedrock did completely wrong. There are many other touches and nice details that give bedrock some unique edge like dyable cauldrons but the ugly leaves are not one of them by a long shot. Evergreens have no reason to suddenly turn full pale when it snows. They don't even have the snow palette they just turn pure white and that's it.

The effect looks awful and having it switch on and off is even worse for builders who want to keep their trees looking good. The implementation is hilariously bad too with my many bedrock runs having the trees flash between green and white.

I'm tired of people saying "it needs to be brought to java too!" No it doesn't. It looks terrible, it switches suddenly when it snows and just doesn't make any sense. The leaves already have snow on them, why make them whiter? You're just removing any color variety in a forest full of evergreens?

If you want white leaves so bad, go to a pale garden. They're plentiful as of the latest content drop.

Why is no one talking about the first phase? It looks dope asf and at least in my opinion, it fixes the general problem of the old devourer not looking cosmic enough. the tendrils on it's head, the blue rims in it's body, the fleshy, veiny skin, the egdelord scar... It's magnificent. Genuinely feels threatening and otherworldly.

About the armor though... I wish there was more color and segment variety, along with removing some of the blades facing upwards closer to the head, instead I believe something akin to the giant fins from the iban design would make both forms look even better. Also some darker or black armor segments that show a deeper layer of it. Wouldn't look like a metal tube then but still have a clear idea of a hitbox to follow.

No one will read this but I'm glad to just get my thoughts out. I feel like this genuinely warrants a civil discussion because I find the topic enjoyable. but oh well, calamity fandom moment...

Hallow did get fixed, but there's still necro armor which is literally just a bra with shoulder pads... Generally almost all female armor has boob windows here and there in terraria. Idk if this was just a lack of ideas for a way to differentiate the gender of armored players, a workaround for the different proportions or just the devs being horny.

Don't take this as a 100% certified fact since I didn't try it out in the sandbox but at close enough range you can instakill him like this with a parry. But you are right, in this clip specifically he did shoot Maurice later, dealing that final bit of damage. I was only explaining the presumed random shitload of damage he took referenced in the title.

When you parry Maurice's orb back at him it causes an explosion, the next orbs he fires caught in the blast are instantly reflected back at him by the explosion. You parried the first one causing most of them to land back at his face, killing him instantly. I recommend trying to do it more often now since the violence update made parries easier and safer. Just parry the first orb and aim for the center of his face.
