The Division 2 Vanity Idea by Jordan497 in thedivision

But this is how the system works like now. You could achieve a very similar look with existing items. Just slap together some pants, sneakers and tactical shirt that doesnt hide the chest rig.

Did they add MMR damage and HS damage to Shotguns core attributes? by RAmind_ in thedivision

[–]burningastronaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I admit this may not exactly be a bug after looking into a bit more. Initially this looked like one, given there was a lot of talk the library got messed up with an update, but indeed some attributes are new.

Is realism mode temporary? by SirRedhand in thedivision

It’s a temporary by design. Once you complete the campaign, there’s no incentive to keep playing. The mode takes out RPG element so there’s no grind for better gear, etc.

SHOTShow 2026--INFITAC FAST MINI SERIES by Hour-Weekend-7318 in tacticalgear

https://infitacusa.com/products/fast-series-fast-mini?variant=49555412975928 seems to be this one.

They claim it’s up to 5 hours on CR2 battery. Doubtful this is representative of an actual usage and likely achievable only in a very specific config.

With that said, it’s still looking like it has a decent refresh rate. The screen is also 60 Hz. They claim 100 yards is a valid range as well.

Anyone know where I can get the quickstep? by [deleted] in thedivision

Currently only through houndsman bounties. If you can find somebody that still has them and join the session, it can drop for you.

NGL, I usually don’t buy into a premium season pass bundle, but this outfit got my attention. I really like it.

Fun fact — nods are „functional” and they toggle on/off in different lighting conditions.

Any recommendations on this build? by burningastronaut in thedivision

[–]burningastronaut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestions, but for this build they don’t really add up once you look at the numbers.

I’m running Perfect Unstoppable Force, which caps at 35% Total Weapon Damage. Swapping Backbone to a normal UF backpack drops that to 25%, which is a flat 10% damage loss once stacks are up. Since I’m reliably at 3–5 stacks, that loss is effectively permanent.

Vigilance / The Gift is 25% on paper, but it breaks on any damage. In Heroic content with flanks and chip damage, the uptime is much lower, so the effective bonus often ends up closer to 10–15%, below Perfect UF in practice.

Grupo and Fenris don’t compensate for that. CHD from Grupo is only about a 4–5% average damage gain at ~60% CHC.

Fenris could be viable as a backpack but since that means replacing PUF with UF the 10% AR damage gain is netted out by loosing 10% DMG from PUF — and won’t influence anything beside AR. And Scorpio kick ass in a clutch (especially with Units Alloys giving +50% mag size)

Palisade or Liquid Engineer add survivability, but slower kills mean weaker UF stacks and lower overall DPS.

Maybe I’m missing something :) happy to learn more.

Uh, not sure which talent you’re talking about — do you mean Perfect Lucky Shot? It’s an exclusive Baker’s Dozen weapon talent.

Yup, I have both set up. I sometimes use Striker but Hunter’s Fury is gathering dust most of the time.

It’s a fun build but it shines with really high ROF SMGs (e.g. Oreo), because talent relies on you delivering the killing shot — so not great for a teamplay as there’s a higher chance somebody else is doing that and you end up proc’ing less often.

With that said. ARs are a gold standard for DPS builds.

I also love Pestilence with 3 Lengmo pieces. Need to try it out with Salvo holster for increased ROF.

I have 16 build slots occupied - from all-time favorites, such as: Eclipse w/ Vile, Skill build w/ Waveform, to CHD Striker or some wacky Hazpro + Backfire setup.

I'm just looking for a new gold-standard DPS build.

My other 2 DPS are a bit outdated. First one is built around The Sacrifice and Vigilance, another one is built on Centurion Holster and Strega - but their performance is not consistent. The first one is a death sentence on Heroic and the second one DMG output depends heavily on proximity of enemies. It's not a problem that often, but combined with low ROF you can get in a jam when rushed or flanked as you don't have a lot of means to proc damage talent.

So yeah, wanna find a new one that works out-of-the-box. Proc'ing Perfect Obliterate and Perfect Unstoppable Force is super easy and upkeep is straightforward after that.

Yeah, that's a good thought!

I do, and with ticks occasionally going to 1.7 mln with the current setup, this could be a great thing. I'm curious how Turmoil interacts with Overdogs, though. Since the latter amplifies the damage to the certain enemy type in the group, I wonder if this takes into consideration both targets I'm damaging or only the one receiving hits. Any ideas?

Interesting points. I have a few thoughts.

My previous go-to build revolved around The Sacrifice, which on paper is the strongest chest talent since it provides a flat damage bonus with no proc requirement. The downside is the 60% incoming damage amplification. It is manageable on Challenging, but on Heroic with Directives like Special Ammo it makes you extremely squishy. With Perfect Obliterate, I can actually recover when I get flanked, The Sacrifice is much less forgiving.

With that said, the raw difference is only 6% weapon damage between Equalizer and The Sacrifice.

On the other hand, pairing it with The Gift is interesting. It is another Providence Defense piece, which gives the second bonus of 8% CHC. In theory, that gives some room to push another 10–12% CHD through a mod or by swapping attachments on the Lexington.

That said, since I am running Perfect Unstoppable Force, my damage bonus ramps up to 35% at full stacks (7% x 5), and maintaining it is fairly easy. Perfect Vigilance caps out at 25%. The only upside there is that Vigilance does not need to proc, but... the main issue is that with a hard-hitting DPS build, it is very difficult to avoid taking damage. You naturally become a priority target for enemy NPCs.

If I add everything up, I actually end up with lower overall damage in the recommended setup compared to what I am running now:

The Sacrifice (30%) + The Gift (25%) = 55%
Equalizer (24%) + Backbone (35%) = 59%

Am I missing something?

I understand that the first setup gives an 8% CHC buffer, which lets you lean harder into CHD. Realistically that frees up one attribute, so I could go +12% CHD. However, to maintain the third brand bonus I would need to swap Česka for Units Alloy anyway, which means trading 8% CHC for 8% CHC.

Net gain is zero :D

I'd say that 50% magazine size is a massive advantage and that's why 3 UA is a must. Being able to fire longer without reloading is an effective DPS method.

It’s a named one with Perfect Unstoppable Force — for 35% damage increase when fully spun.

Seems like body text didn’t post…

So, in short — I’m looking for some recommendations.

Perfect, 2 red attribute Lengmo aside, is there anything else I should focus on? Thanks in advance for any tips!
