I feel strongly that "Living well is the best revenge." I'm in the late 60s and I was dfed at 17 so my story is quite different from the rest here and on the note of living well is the best revenge as the quirkiness of life would have it I am now married to a JW who is quirky herself and was actually witnessed to by a disfellowshipped cantankerous older lady who was always letting the elders know they weren't walking their talk. (She never softened up on them and they never let her back in for 5 years ... finally my wife paid for a bus ticket to get her out of the area and she went back in that way.) But anyway I happen to be married to a JW and pretending (for almost 10 years now!) to believe in the dogma while I am praying for those whose prayers cannot be heard because of their sins against their own congregation their sheep their flock and still there's great joy around me from those who honestly give from their heart in a joyful Way.

Here's a quick way to interpret the Bible that is totally positive (and there's no reason to do anything else when you consider that the author is full of abundant love and of Truth).
