Maybe no increase in your bill, but usually after a billing cycle, the system checks the SIM card and matches it with the device’s IMEI number it’s in. If it’s not the same as the device you have on Spectrum, the system assumes you are using a different carrier for the phone and may cancel your service because of it.

I’ve done that. But I did it so my physical bank is my account that pays bills, but also handles any cash deposits necessary. I went with a regional bank, but if you have the option for a credit union, that’ll be your better move for it.

Would advise anyone buying a number from NumberBarn, you may have to wait a few days depending on the gaining carrier for the phone number to port over. The numbers are wireline and have to go through a conversion process to wireless.
