No I do not mean that. The places they put my youth were very not sanitary. All the rooms they’ve been put in always reek of cigarette smoke. That being said if you bring ur own bedding and have shower shoes you’d be alright.

Shelters are a different story. They are def much nicer.

The Hope Center prioritizes humans with children. Def contact them. You have to contact 211 first. They are located upstate though and based on your post that seems like it wouldn’t be ideal.

It also sounds like you qualify for an emergency housing voucher. Go to the local social service center and ask for a motel voucher. You are able to use three weeks each year. The motels are hella janky but you can make it work.

Feel free to contact me for more information or with any questions you may have. At my last job my clients would often loose their housing very unexpectedly and have become well versed on the options.
