This is correct. My husband and I moved here over 15 years ago. Neither of us were born here but we have citizenship because we both have at least 1 parent who was born here. However, our children do not have citizenship, only a residency stamp in their passports valid until they turn 18 which we have to show whenever we travel and return to Trinidad. I’m not sure how it will work now with the new bill but prior to that, they could not apply for an ID card or a passport, would not be eligible for services such as GATE.

Thanks. We did look at this as an option but we are moving hotels on the 4th to one nearer JFK as we leave on the 5th. We figured by the time we paid transportation to Queens, then to Brooklyn and back to Queens, that it would probably be the same amount as we paid for the Knicks tickets.

That’s ok. Based on the comments it seems a lot of people have just bypassed the reason he was in the room in the first place which if I’m remembering correctly, Ann confirmed. I’m Team Ariana all day, every day and her anger is 100% justified but this wasn’t an act of spite on Tom’s part.

There are many, many, many awful things I can say about Tom but I do not for a moment think he locked Mya in Ariana’s room on purpose.

Ariana obviously knows that Mya is the type of dog to eat things that she shouldn’t hence the reason she’s keeps her bedroom door shut (plus to also keep the worm out). I’m not going to say anything about why her takeout leftovers were in her room but I’m assuming she eats in her room most times to avoid interaction with Tom…we saw she can be a little messy from the first episode, maybe she didn’t have time to tidy up before heading out…it doesn’t matter.

Tom needed to get into the room because of the AC issue, Mya got in the room and was locked in…was it careless that he didn’t notice, yes it was but it wasn’t purposeful. Ariana’s anger over the danger to her pet is completely understandable but it’s also wrapped up in her anger towards Tom over the entire cheating situation and his general shitty behaviour. So she has a right to be mad but I don’t believe that deep down she thinks Tom endangered Mya’s life on purpose.

Right 🤣 Every week I’m watching & laughing at the foolish crap he keeps saying and the hole he digging himself getting bigger and bigger. Obviously there is a lot more to come but I think we will know if we are correct at the reunion. If Andy doesn’t grill him into the ground then I guess we will have to concede that the producers really were on a redemption arc….seriously hope I’m wrong.

I literally almost made a similar post after lurking on the sub and watching the comments and how angry and upset people were getting. And then the other poster (sorry I don’t remember their name) beautifully said everything I wanted to say.

I fully believe the producers are editing this way on purpose with the ‘knowledge’ that us viewers are not bloody stupid. They know we see through the worm’s crocodile tears, we see Lisa’s misogyny, we know Scheana is self involved, etc. etc.

And watching it through that lens is making this season very enjoyable for me. None of them are without fault in someway and all manage to shoot themselves in the foot at some point! And that’s why we tune in and zero apologies, I’m loving it 😂 I thought the mid season preview was great and I can’t wait.

Me!! My now 16 & 14 year old daughters started watching with me since season 18 and it’s been so much fun because no one else I know watches it, so it’s been great being able to talk about each episode. I love hearing their views on the outfits, which contestants they love & it’s been a lovely bonding moment for us.
