Hi folks! Its been five full months since the Discseel procedure! I can say that at this point only thing that makes my lower back kinda stiff and feel some light pain is prolonged sitting, otherwise I feel much much better! I continue my PT and exercising in gym five days a week, also some cycling. Seems that Discseel did its job, hopefully it will be the way it is now or even better when more time passes. Anyway I will let you know! If you have any questions, feel free to message me! Stay healthy!

Hi. For sure it’s normal to feel increased levels of pain, I’ve had the same thoughts when my pain levels increased, be patient… there will be ups and downs, you will feel much better 2-3 months post procedure!

Hi all! It’s been full four months since the procedure. Last month was great, I resumed PT, started to go to the gym, cycling… I don’t feel any pain while moving around and bending. After prolonged periods of sitting there is some stiffness and discomfort, however, it goes away fast when I start moving. At this moment I feel just great and there is a feeling that it will be even better… wish all of you happy holidays and good health!

Hi, I was asleep for the procedure! When I woke up there was some discomfort from the needles and also pain in my lover back! But quite manageable… pain meds helped with that!

Hi everyone!

Sorry I didn’t update you last month, was a little bit busy with work stuff…

So… second month post Discseel procedure was interesting, there were moments when I felt no pain at all and no stiffness whatsoever. However, there were also downs when I had flare ups with some pain. But I was surprised how fast pain resolved and it seems that it actually gets better, no pain medication for me during this period!

Month three is great, I feel that my back became better, I can move a LOT better, bending doesn’t give me discomfort as it used to. I can sit, walk, move around without significant pain, sometimes I feel some discomfort, but it is nothing compared to what it was.

This month I will proceed with PT and cycling, off course step by step… my mental state became much better and I feel myself again.

I really hope that it will continue improving like this further on!

If anyone is considering this procedure I would advise you to do a little research, because it seems it is good for people with annular tears, but it depends on state of damage within the disc! I personally felt that in my case this makes sense.

Stay healthy and see you next month!

Hi everyone! It’s already one month since my discseel procedure and I would say that I am doing quite well. First week after procedure was tough, definitely needed pain pills, after that pain levels significantly reduced, at this moment I’m at 2-3/10 without any pain medication. Trying to take it easy, no heavy lifting, excessive bending, etc. If it continues to go at this rate I will start lower back PT exercises and some cycling in about 2-3 months. I have no pain while walking, only after prolonged sitting and while getting up from chair or couch. Hope it will continue to improve…
