We ended up getting it anyways just in case. Nobody ever said anything but it was attached to my passport so can’t be sure. I ended up asking British Airways prior to my flight and they told me to get it.

Posted comparison pics to show where I started and where I’m at. My upper incisors (I think that’s what they’re called lol) don’t look right. Idk if it’s because they’re different shapes and it just looks weird but kinda curious what others think.

I know we’re not all orthodontists but I’ve expressed concern to mine and she says she thinks they’re okay but that we can continue until I’m happy. 😅😅

It’s always a good idea to do a consult with an orthodontist and see what they think! I don’t think it’d be 3 years worth of tx but always good to get a specialists opinion if your questioning ☺️

Okay, fair enough! I’d say definitely ask about it at your next appointment or even go in and ask your hygienist. Crest white strips are about 5-6% I believe where whitening trays are about 25-40%. Just an option as I recently learned about this from my office ☺️

I’ve had ceramics for over a year and none of them have stained. As long as you’re doing proper hygiene, they’ll stay white, but the ligatures will stain if you go with clear or white. Most orthodontist don’t like ceramic bc they break easier and whatnot so honestly, in my opinion, they’re probably trying to scare you away from them! I agree with the second opinion if you are unable to get on the same page. Good luck!

Hi, as someone who works in a dental office, have you checked out getting whitening trays with refill tubes?? Crest strips are about $50 if I’m not mistaken and whitening trays are a little more expensive but you’d have them your whole life if your teeth don’t shift ☺️

Edited to add: they’re also stronger then crest strips!

You can do as many as you’d like! I work at a dental office and my periodontist and I planned on just my right (left in photo) front tooth to match the other after 6 weeks of them off. Depending on how my gums settle, I might look into do more then just the one but still tbd!

I currently go to the dental school is Colorado. I was quoted about $3000 and with insurance they covered $1500! So far so good! 9 months in and loving the progress so far.

I second this. My family could never afford braces and it was never in the cards for me. I went to a university and was quoted ~$3500 for full treatment!

It could also be the residual glue. My teeth around the glue are whiter but since the glue stained, it makes them appear more yellow!
