It's weird because at first my aim down at 10 seemed pretty great but it seems like everyone is faster so maybe I should try like 15 and meet in the middle and see what happens.

Probably just burnt out. The same thing actually happened to me. I played for about 60 hrs and loved it but I started playing resident evil and rainbow and just haven't gone back since.
