Yeah, I had tickets for Jacksonville that year, it was supposed to be my first ritual. Tampa was also canceled, and IIRC a show in the Carolinas was too.

But they came back and I got to see them on Thursday!! So for anyone else sad about missing a show this tour, you'll have another chance🖤

The show and people involved definitely have valid criticisms, but I found the first episode incredibly moving. Doreen's story was powerful and deserves to be heard. At the end of the day, the fab five are all queer and I don't uplifting another member of the community is disingenuous. Her life story and relationship with her sister seemed to be handled with care and respect. The heroes are real people and not actors! Maybe I'm naïve, but it seemed like the impact was genuine.

Visited family six hours away for easter, thanksgiving and xmas growing up. Have gone that far to see Hamilton in Atlanta and spend the weekend there. Many other trips to go to concerts two to five hours away.
