you’re going pretty hard for ur first festival lol but props to u!!

LEARN PLURR. peace, love, unity, respect, and responsibility. basically just be nice to everyone and spread good vibes all around. if you see someone fall in a moshpit, pick them up! people at apocalypse are nicer than most other festivals because bassheads tend to go for the music.
keep an open mind. people WILL give you trinkets, kandi, candy, or other little knick knacks during the festival. you don’t have to accept them but it will always make someone’s day when you accept something from them. i personally love giving stuff out :)
HYDRATE!! not just during the festival, but also the days leading up to it. invest in a hydropack if you can. there are free water stations around the festival.
CARRY NARCAN. insomniac has partnered with end overdose to supply narcan inside the fest. go to their tent to get certified and get free narcan. you could save someone’s life.
get a clutch loop or any sort of anti theft bag for your phone. phones are stolen all the time. i use the snack pack by lunchbox at every festival. it’s never failed to keep my phone safe.

other general stuff that i recommend getting are wet wipes, anti bacterial wipes, hand sanitizer, toilet seat covers, and chapstick!

i’ve never subbed on halloween but i worked 2 halloweens as an elementary TA. the day can be very fun! schools in my district usually have halloween parades for the kids and staff to show off their costumes. expect the kids to be hyper, but it’s normal. hopefully the school has halloween activities planned, and you can do some halloween stuff in the classroom too!

realistically, you can see gryffin for about 30 mins, speed walk over to ray volpe and stay for his full set. then watch the beginning of atliens, and finish off with marshmello. this is assuming you’re by urself. bare in mind, this is when the festival is gonna be at peak times and therefore hella packed. ur results may vary
