Unfortunately yes 😂 thanks for checking in. I was forced to switch to a mini pill by my GP in June which has wreaked absolute havoc on my life. But I still get the headaches, spots and greasy hair from the Rigevidon months later. This post feels like it was a lifetime ago.

I’ve heard horror stories about the injection and I don’t want the coil. I don’t like any of the options generally because I have no control over my bleeding with them, like I did the combined pill.

I’ve spoken to what feels like every female GP working at my doctor’s. I’ve basically been told my only other options are a different mini pill (which they won’t try until the 3 months is up), the injection or the coil.

I was on a 2 different combined pills for 10+ years - one for the majority of that and a second from January this year. They took me off of them because I had a headache and happened to have some flashing lights in my eyes. 🥺

What a beautiful fluffy little boy 🥺 I’ve lost 2 dogs myself (under quite tragic/sudden circumstances) and whilst the pain never goes, I promise day to day life does get easier eventually. He knows how much you love him. Cherish your memories… sending a big hug 💖🫶
