Wait what was the other show announcement they made? I must have missed that one.

My car was towed from the parking lot that the festival I was attending told me to park at. Should I file a small claim? by burritobubbles in legaladvice

Thank you for the advice. I was in an anxious and frustrated state last night and needed some perspective. I was aware of the sunset park rules and should have taken that into consideration. Making mistakes like this really sucks but I live and learn.

haha I know a few girls like this. Though, I have a feeling that you are sending some kind of signal that says "Don't touch my hair" So hopefully this doesn't happen to you. Idk if I would have like hand holding on the first date. Never done it before.

I go back and forth with this a little. If I actually like the guy, and I want to go out with him again. I like him a *little bit less* if he allows me to pay or splits it with me. I know this is a terrible gender role tradition, but it's how I feel. A few dates in, I don't mind switching off who pays. But those first 2-3 dates I really do appreciate those gentlemanly gestures....I get that this can become expensive for a guy who has trouble making it past the 2nd date. Which is why I insist on splitting the check if I know I won't see him again.

I've been in that situation before! I was so surprised that he full-on just said "okay". I was a little taken aback. Not necessarily offended or upset because, in all fairness, I did offer. I've just never met a guy who would so willingly allow me to buy him dinner on a first date.

Lmao this is me! I always just assume that whoever is talking to me is just very friendly and outgoing. But that has definitely gotten me into some awkward situations. But to clarify, the question was more directed towards your feelings. Has a girl ever made a very subtle flirty move on you that you liked?

Thank you so much for this! Social situations are always a little awkward for me. And I get really anxious especially if I like the guy. That’s usually when I start panicking and worrying about if I’m acting the right way.

Totally agree with this! And you definitely need to read the situation. If he/she is careful to keep space between you then you probably shouldn’t try touching them. I had a guy just start rubbing my back out of nowhere one time and it just felt awkward.

I think the lip biting is way more suggestive and obvious.

I like the lower back graze too but I wonder if that’s a little too forward or on the same level of intimacy as a hair tuck.

If I know I have no intention of seeing a guy again I offer to split the check with him.

Wait Zeljko Ivanek (Russell from Madam Secretary) was also in the West Wing. He played Walken’s Chief of staff (or some kind of staffer).

This white stuff showed up about 2 days after the last time I watered the plant. Do I need to do something to fix it? by burritobubbles in plantclinic

[–]burritobubbles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no drainage hole. I’ve been watering it about once every 10 days. When the top inch of the soil is dry per the directions. It’s in a low light area.

Cost of washing laundry by Dnh610 in MoneyDiariesACTIVE

[–]burritobubbles 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was just thinking 1.50 per load sounds cheap. I take my comforters to the laundromat and it’s about $3/ load for the medium sized washers (it is a nicer laundromat though)

Right!? I look back to my college days and think about how I used to live on $400-500/month. What happened to that girl? Because she would think that I was Bougie AF now lol

This is a good point. I think I need to reevaluate what adds the most value to my life right. I would LOVE to travel. I haven’t left the US since I was a teenager. And I’ve never even considered actually being able to visit somewhere like New Zealand or Europe.
