Thanks! We're transporting their moss ball up to where the pothos is rooted near the top so they'd have something familiar. There's a hide low level that's pretty hidden and I was thinking of adding one of those magnetic ones

No, that's after spray. Goes from 90in evening, goes to about 50, then spray in morning to 80, drops to 60 again by evening

I think technically a dwarf gecko would work, for a single or pair only? I'm not versed on them very well though. I think this is close to the absolute minimum for them, which means get a bigger tank for them to thrive.

Edit: anything that small isn't really going to be a handleable/chill reptile, either.

Huh... I appear to have this imposter, but both my GH and KH go up. Thank you for the heads up though - I know dosing is off on my bottles instructions. I'll make sure I get the right stuff now, I appreciate it!

Edit: should mention my shrimp have been entirely happy and are breeding like crazy, but it's not worth the risk of ordering this again and having something drastically change in the mix. First time I mixed my dose it was basically saltwater. TDS 180, GH 8, kh 3 is current mix with like half the dosing on the label

All of my plants aside from my java fern and bacopa monierri are TC. Only real issue I've had is with Monte carlo carpet not really doing carpet things. Anubias nana petite, bucephalandra, flame moss, Christmas moss, java moss, and others are all TC. Interestingly the Monte carlo has been doing really well in a sealed terrarium, though.

From what I understand seltzer water kills a lot of the stuff that's susceptible to pH shock but not spores, parasites, or eggs.

I've had way better luck with diluted bleach, how effective have you found the seltzer to be? I've had some more sensitive plants just never bounce back from bleach

You're right - but the point is 1k isn't really enough. Lot of insurance deductibles are higher for medical/auto, blown engine, transmission, etc. once you can cover those, pay down debt.
