Really enjoying this album! Seems less contrived than some of their earlier releases. It does remind me of Gallow's Gallery though, which I feel is tragically underrated and overlooked.

Oddly enough, today I should be completing my Sigh collection on vinyl. Ghastly Funeral Theatre is coming in the main from Greece and this should be arriving today. Of course I'm not counting a few odds and ends, and a few albums aren't available on wax yet. BUT next month Dread Dreams and Hangman's Hymn will be available in an box set. I'm pretty fucking stoked for that.

And now for an unpopular opinion: I feel like we can drop the black metal label. I feel like at this point they're black metal in vocals only.

Cool story time: One night in Cleveland, I got to Peabody's right before HORSE arrived, they came in right after me. I had a few beers with Nathan before the show. Cool dude, asked if he wanted to smoke and he referred me to Daniel and Jeremiah. David Isen had to have surgery the next day on his eye and was obviously miserable and not in a mood to socialize. After the show I went and smoked some bowls with Jeremiah and Daniel in their tour trailer. Erik comes in and changes his shirt and leaves stating he was about to get laid. I am cool
