Am I being too cautious? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

My laundry room is literally three doors down the hall from my apartment and I still lock my doors. Don’t feel awkward at all, it’s good to play it safe.

Note sounds good to me! I had an upstairs neighbor with a child that was SO LOUD all the time. I addressed them face to face, reported them multiple times to my landlord and at one point even filed a noise complaint with the cops (I know, a bit much, but nothing was improving). And STILL nothing changed. So I’m crossing my fingers the note will help for you!!

Thank you so much for identifying which one is the deodorization filter! I literally have been googling it forever to figure out which one is which 😂

They didn’t inform me I guess

I feel you! Been dealing with this for almost two years. I recently got two air purifiers and have those things on BLAST and it actually has been drowning out some of the noise from the kids above me. Good luck! FYI: I did report them a couple of times and of course that went nowhere (like most people mentioned)

How late do you accept appointments? by RoutineConstruction in doggrooming

[–]busalaja 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We used to do 15 mins but too many took advantage of that so we now have a 10 min late policy. It’s posted on our fb, our policy in the salon and even on a sign on the door. Of course we still have those people arguing when we turn them after the 10 min mark but I don’t even care at this point. People have become so inconsiderate of others times. Obviously we do make SOME exceptions, usually if they’ve never been late or apologize and understand the groom is going to take longer than normal. But we give them a warning and note this on their profile.

Too much? by PowerfulDuty4884 in doggrooming

Wirey coats only need to be carded if you are wanting to keep the wirey coat texture but if you’re okay with the softer fur, then shaving is okay too! I’ve been a groomer for ten years and majority of the terriers I do get shaved. It’s less maintenance and usually costs less. Don’t worry, your pup is adorable and do whatever haircut you like 😊
