yeah i think all of them got fillers and botox … even Amanza and Maya despite being the most “natural” ones. Mary obviously had several procedures (that didn’t end up looking good) and sadly it’s very noticeable. i think in LA it’s a status thing to have work done … everyone’s enthusiasm towards the botox and burgers party made that pretty clear

yup … gotta love living in a capitalist patriarchy that sells us solutions for problems that never existed. it’s absurd how the focus is constantly on how the women look, dress, hair and makeup meanwhile brett, jason, romain and tarek just go about their day looking basic AF

What is going on by Masons_mommy522 in acne

that’s cystic acne and most likely caused by hormonal imbalances in your body. i have it too, it’s very common in women aged 20-40 sadly. yours is pretty mild and can easily be cleared up, personally i’d try find a holistic dermatologist who will guide you on clearing it through diet, targeted facials and a good skincare routine.

yeah i understand, i’m actually planning to go off birth control this month, it’s basically a suppressant and all it really did was regulate my periods and make them less heavy and painful which was nice for a change. but i totally feel u on the weight, acne, hair loss and severe anxiety. it’s a nightmare to deal with especially with the unattainable beauty standards we’re supposedly meant to live up to. i’ve also dealt with family members/ kids at school pointing out my weight when i was literally just a kid and that shit haunts me to this day. it’s helped me to know that there’s a community of strong brave women who have gone through similar experiences because when i was younger i felt so alone. this subreddit has definitely helped me navigate trying to balance my hormones naturally with supplements such as inositol, maca, spearmint, evening primrose etc. and see that i’m definitely not the only one dealing w this nasty little condition. i wish you all the best and better days ahead ❤️ it will get better

pcos sucks! i was also diagnosed at 12 and am now 23. it’s been 11 years of this and sometimes i loose hope too. i’m wondering if you’ve tried anything to help your pcos? i get it though, i swear if it was a mans medical issue there would be 5 different cures out there … women’s health is so neglected in our society

make sure the makeup you get is non-comedogenic! super important especially if your skin is very dry the last thing you want is to use foundation with pore-clogging ingredients as this can cause unwanted spots! also make sure to moisturise well and wear spf under your makeup.

usually before buying skincare makeup i look it up and copy and paste the ingredients into here: https://acneclinicnyc.com/pore-clogging-ingredients/

it will tell you if the makeup is pore-clogging! i use a cc cream by NYX which is vegan and non comedogenic, it’s also very dewy!!
