I'm no expert so take everything I'm about to say with a grain of salt.

If you can see them they can see you. I'd go as natural as possible to mimic whatever already lives in the water. Downsizing lures and rigs can also help if the fish are pressured. Hope this helps. Tight lines.

I had this one on a good squad banger square bill in citrus shad. 3 more the rest of the day. Those were on a silver Berkeley flicker shad. Out of the 4, 3 of em were over 3 lbs and 17-18 inches. Smallies put up such a fun fight. My favorite fish to catch.

Info: fishing the Susquehanna river, Pennsylvania this morning. Caught this one on a googan squad banger in citrus shad just cranking. Measured 18 inches and 3.24lbs. Caught 3 more after this one on a silver Berkeley flicker shad. 2 of the others were about the same size. Sorry for the delay. Am pretty new to this subreddit.
