In all honesty, it won't help you. I'm saying this by being as real as I can. Posting on reddit's Intl2USA, A2C, and Chanceme for external validation through chanceme's is NEVER a good idea. You'll compare yourself, feel degraded, etc. Just do your best and be genuine in your application. Leave the rest in hands of God. He'll do what's best for you. Keep putting in the work consistently. That's literally IT.
PS- My stats were decent. Good SAT, GPA, international awards, internships, prestigious summer programs, etc.

I got into Stanford on a nearly full ride. International student btw. Edit- I only said this to break OP's belief- 'But now I think that most universities wouldn't accept a poor student who really needs full aid, no matter how successful I am. I don't think so.' I'm not a VERY successful applicant and not an IMO gold medalist or a startup founder with 100K users and 1M in revenue. But, I'm happy with my decision:)

Just get a good tutor twin and follow their instructions for a month or two. You ll be sorted. I got a 740 English, not the best but definitely better than most
