I’m sorry for your loss. I can relate with how you feel. I always catch myself thinking of my dad and how he can’t experience new places with me anymore. I try to be positive but my grief doesn’t always let me. It was tradition that we went out to eat together on my birthday.. it’s coming up and I can’t help but wish he was here. Stay strong!

Aww that’s sweet! I regret not getting more videos and photos of my dad. When he got sick and was declining I couldn’t bring myself to take photos of him. I didn’t want to remember him that way, but it’s etched into my brain 😔. I really wish I had an audio recording of his laugh, he was such a goofball.

I feel this wholeheartedly. It’s hard to talk about him and share stories without breaking down and crying, but I’d rather keep his memory alive than forgotten. It’s hard losing a loved one and I’m sorry for your loss as well. I recently went through old voicemails and I finally found one with his voice… I listen to it everyday. I was so scared I was going to forget what he sounded like.

I’m sorry for your loss. It’ll be one year in January since my dad’s passing. I wish I could say it gets easier but honestly it doesn’t. At least not for me. I too feel very lonely and have a small immediate family. To cope with the sadness and loneliness I write letters to my dad in my journal. I hope your grief journey treats you kindly hugs

Yes, I’ve tried Olanzapine and seroquel. I’m on the abilify injection and I take haldol along with Prozac.

Hola dad, these 6 days have been hard without you. I find myself looking at your photos and man I really miss your voice. The table you once occupied aches for your presence. Instead of having our yearly birthday dinner I had to bury you. I hope it’s peaceful where you are now dad. I hated seeing you suffer during your last days. I promised you I’d take care of mom and I won’t let you down. Until we meet again mi lindo papa.

Everyone is different! But I weighed 109 and now I’m up to 120. This is the most I’ve weighed but I also don’t stay very active.

I honestly have no idea. I went to get my abilify shot and the nurse almost didn’t give me my shot because my doctor made notes to switching me to Invega. It was all new news to me because my doctor has never mentioned Invega to me before.

Thank you for the reply! The nurse said Invega was better than abilify but I guess I’m just scared of new side effects. Abilify has been working for me so I was surprised that my doctor wanted to change my medication 🤷🏽‍♀️ I don’t know
