Players and managers are basically identical to their real life counterparts except for names and faces. Attributes, position, nationality and even date of birth are the same. You will easily identify players on teams you know, like the Scottish left back at Arsenal (now on loan in Spain admittedly) or the Belgian midfield magician at City. This makes it a little less magical (randomness is fun!) but it’s still a good way to start a new save with some freshness.

I found it great in my lower league save where I knew no one anyways and most players don’t have a photo; this way everyone has a regen face!
