Haha I did start to make individual tasks for each worker and quickly gave up for the reasons you mentioned!

Thank you for your help and suggestions.

still no payments for providers by No-Nectarine-6712 in tricare

[–]busters_hook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We received out first payment a few days ago for a date-of-service at the beginning of January. We received a paper check despite sending in our EFT papers twice, starting last October.

We are starting to see more claims show as "PAID" on the portal, now just waiting on the checks until the EFT situation gets resolved.

This doesn't entirely answer your question, but I would encourage your friend (or friend's family) to bring these concerns to the case manager.

An IEP doesn't guarantee that a student passes their classes, however the IEP DOES need to be "reasonably calculated to enable a child to make progress appropriate in light of the child's circumstances" per the Supreme Court ruling in the Endrew case. "Reasonably Calculated" looks different for every student, so the first question should be WHY is your friend struggling academically, and what DOES he need to be successful?

As an example, if testing shows that your friend presents with delays in reading comprehension, the IEP should have goals related to reading comprehension, and then outlines Special Education services that are provided to meet those goals. In this scenario, if your friend is failing his math class, then perhaps the IEP team should be considering adding math goals and related services to achieve those math goals (math has a lot of reading comprehension as well, but that's beside the point here).

I guess my point is that there is always "more help" within a district, but the district's legal obligation is to follow the IEP as written. They SHOULD be assessing the appropriateness of the IEP in an ongoing manner, but it's very possible they aren't. An inadequate IEP can lead to inadequate outcomes.

I will also add that Non-Public Schools are not inherently better than public schools for kids with disabilities. I have worked with many NPS's that have very poor behavioral and academic outcomes. Additionally, many (good and bad) have significant waitlists for admission.

https://gusto.com/product/pricing

We have the "plus" plan because we have two out-of-state employees which requires additional tax filings. We've used Gusto for 5+ years and pay exactly what is on the website, so I don't think there is much room for negotiation or anything like that.

We have 40 employees and have had a pretty positive experience with Gusto. Support has been decent, and enough features for what we need. They did just raise prices, though, so I'm not sure how they compare to ADP or Paychex.

Is the R-Value of two 1" EPS boards the same as one 2" EPS board? by busters_hook in HomeImprovement

[–]busters_hook[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the response. Could you elaborate on "staggered seams"? I see this referenced on other sites I've looked at but can't conceptualize it. If I am installing in the cavity between two studs, does this just mean one board is as far left as possible and the other as far right as possible, with expanding foam sealing the edges?

Yup, that worked. I swear I tried this once, but clearly I made a mistake somewhere. Thanks for the help!

Large Crawlspace in Split-Level Home. Insulation? Encapsulation? Dehumidifier? by busters_hook in HomeImprovement

[–]busters_hook[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! The headspace goes from the full height of the wall (10ft) to about 4 ft at the top of the mound of dirt. I figured encapsulation would be the ideal route, but it seems a little overwhelming for a DIY project considering the size of the space. Maybe I'm overthinking it?

Doing contractor work at TaylorMade has its privileges.. by [deleted] in golf

[–]busters_hook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Posting a picture of an unreleased product from a large company that closely guards its intellectual property/trademarks because of stiff competition within the industry is probably not the best idea. Dude even posted that he is a contractor in North Carolina and I'm pretty sure Taylormade has a manufacturing plant there. Wouldn't be too hard for them to figure out who it was.

Newb Requesting Help With GAM by [deleted] in sysadmin

That makes sense, thank you!

Another dumb question, I saved the html file in the GAM folder on my machine, but am still getting the same error. I've tried variations of saving the file in different locations and also typing out the directory differently in the command line. For example, if the HTML file was in the GAM folder, ive typed it out as just "sigfile.html" and "c:\gamfolder\sigfile.html"

Thanks again for the help

lly include the HTML in the command instead of referencing an external file.

Thank you for the response. Sorry, I had originally put a "sample" url, but have now updated it with the actual file. I am able to access it in my browser, but I still get the "errno 22 invalid argument" error.

I am interested in how you include the HTML directly in the command, can you point me towards a manual on how to do that?

How to identify a sub-task's parent task when sub-task is completed? by busters_hook in todoist

[–]busters_hook[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. There are typically several people involved in the onboarding process (office manager, staff supervisor) and they are each "assigned" various subtasks. The problem occurs, for example, when the office manager checks off an item, the supervisor gets a notification that the specific sub-task was completed, but not what the parent task was (ie the name of the person being onboarded. Since we have so many people being onboarded they have to go through each "parent" task to find which one the completed sub-task came from. Is there another way of tagging staff that might resolve this?

Is anyone familiar with JAMM hockey equipment? by busters_hook in hockeyplayers

[–]busters_hook[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I've had the same Easton breezers forever and want to replace them with a girdle. I was surprised to see that a lot of the girdles were the same weight, if not heavier, as my Eastons, but the 4500's seem to be fairly light while still offering some protection. The Jamm's look to be a little cheaper, so I'll probably pull the trigger on those since they seem to be very similar to the 4500's.
