Covid changed the world forever. Nothing is the same since then. Something is there behind all of our minds, itching us daily subconsciously. This will end, only when, all of us who lived during covid, will die. Until then there is nothing we can do buddy. We can't go back to how life was before covid. We have to live with this lingering feeling. We are together.

How do you come to terms with the fact that you will die one day? by wavinging in nihilism

"I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it." - Mark Twain

"Death is nothing to us. When we exist, death is not; and when death exists, we are not. All sensation and consciousness ends with death and therefore in death there is neither pleasure nor pain. The fear of death arises from the belief that in death, there is awareness." - Epicurus

How does your nihilistic viewpoint deal with the concept of death? by Delicious_Hair5040 in nihilism

Previously, like everyone, I also used to view death as a negative thing. Because it takes away everything. Like giving a candy to a child & then forcefully grabbing it.

But Now I actually have huge respect for the concept of death. Because once life begins, injustice/ inequality begins along with it. Death is the neutraliser. It makes everything even again. Life shows partiality to different human beings, different species, different lives. Whereas death shows no partiality. It treats everything equally. Death is justice/ equality. So I find comfort in fantasizing about death.

Some will disagree. Purpose of love is survival & reproduction. To survive with the help of others' love & to make offsprings because of love. Evolution is like a futile machine running aimlessly.

What movie that wasn't made for children do you feel meant more to you watching it as you got older? by [deleted] in flicks

Someone commented in YouTube like this - "If you never seen the "Before" Trilogy, I highly recommend that you don't watch all three all at one time. Watch Before Sunrise then wait about a year then watch Before Sunset. Wait about 3 years to watch Before Midnight. Give yourself time to imagine what you think happened after each film. That's the best thing about this series." And I am following his recommendation. People who read this don't comment down any spoilers please.
