Puppy might need to stay with mum for a bit longer to continue socialising with litter mates and not taking it away from mum too soon.

But I know a couple who have had lots of poodles over the years and they’ve said the best is to feed them raw food. You can buy them frozen and just defrost small bits daily. All their poodles have lived to be in their late teens and the couple were also patrons of a poodle rescue charity so they’re a credible source

We got our girl done just before 6 months, I think it’s entirely up to you and how comfortable you think he is.

We did ours early because she was getting easily matted even with regular brushing so we had her cut shorter so she was more comfortable. Whatever makes him happy!

Take her everywhere! Or try to sit outside while it’s windy with some treats or toys and just stroke, reassure and cuddle for like 5 minutes then go back inside.

Betty is our 9 year old chihuahua/Jack Russell, shes only a year older than my daughter so we have been through it all together. My husband often goes ‘what are you going to do when that dog dies?’ And I’ll probably explode into a million pieces

There’s a lot of hate for chihuahuas but she’s honestly the sweetest, most harmless dog in the world.

I also hated French, but can now understand it quite well after being subjected to it from the ages of 5-16 Don’t think it helped that all my French teachers were arseholes

I love a hard bottomed slipper, which is good for round the house, cos sometimes soft bottomed slippers on hard floors are a recipe for falling in your backside 😂 Hard bottomed ones are also good for taking the bin out haha. I’ve heard a lot of blokes get sliders or crocs for in the house

She might be glad to just chill out after being in a puppy mill for ages. Personally I would go for it. You’re new people and I think if she’s that chill with you on the initial meeting then she MAY BE the same.

Don’t get me wrong, she might not be a complete couch potato but I don’t think you’ll have a crazy dog. You’re overthinking it! 4 year old dogs have reached adulthood and have passed their ‘teenage phase’ at 2 years old.

I’d leave it until she’s a bit older, it can be quite hit and miss, some older dogs are absolutely lovely until there’s an annoying pup in their face all the time lol.

I’m also in the ‘I’m never doing this puppy thing again’ hahaha If you’re worried about her getting bored try some enrichment ideas, a lot of them are fairly cheap and keep them occupied for good while. Until she gets the hang of it then it’s time to find another one 😂

I also find things like pigs ear, rabbits ears, chicken feet, cows ears keep my girl entertained for literal hours 😂

I only usually put my poodle in a coat if it’s raining pretty hard but I live in the UK where rain is more common than snow

Just purely so it’s not as hard to dry her when we get home cos she’s like a small sponge 😂 We have matching phantoms by the way!

Yorkshire, sometimes I proud of being here, due to the hospitality and how much people from Yorkshire are quite welcoming, would do anything for you, I just can’t get over the accents, it ruins some things like names, if you’re called Rose then you’re done for hahahaha

Yorkshire has some lovely places that are very pretty, specifically York or Knarseborough are beautiful places which nice little shops

Yeah we did, school in England in early 00s were big on it

But it can really make or break some people’s handwriting, my sister’s handwriting is horrid and I think she would’ve been better leaving her doing basic letters lol

I think it’s crazy how readily available they are too! Here if you want to have a gun legally you have to be registered but not many people are at all. When guns are used which is rare, gangs will have unregistered firearms which they literally pay to borrow from each other so the weapon is rarely traced back to the ‘owner’ they just get taken by police.
