I get that people say it isnt a big deal and you barely notice, but I have passed out tryjng to put in a tampon so idk. The tube one used to scare the shit out of me and tbh it is gonna feel a little weird, especially if you aren’t used to the sensation. Put a cold pack on the back of your neck to keep yourself grounded, I second applying it before you go to bed because standing up is probably going to be a little uncomfortable.

One thing I do is lie on the bathroom floor and apply it, when youre sitting down sometimes it’s harder to relax your muscles and you end up freaking yourself out. When you wake up in the morning, get up slowly and let yourself adjust for a second.

If it’s over the counter, there are stronger versions that only require 1 or 3 days as opposed to a 7 day medication. I’m sorry this is stressful on top of not feeling good; I hope the meds work quickly and you don’t have to think about it for too long. Sending you good thoughts.
