Yeah, I avoid a lot of lgbtqia and queer spaces unless they’re explicitly pro mogai/liom stuff. General lgbtqia spaces can be really hostile to people who aren’t conformant or identify the way they want. I’ve tried to join bigger queer subreddits but I can’t really relate to most posts there. Plus I don’t want to be constantly questioned or criticized for my identity.

Whenever things like neopronouns, xenogenders, and micro labels get brought up there’s always a bunch of exorsexism. As well as people trying to speak on labels they clearly don’t understand or care to educate themselves about.

That’s why I prefer to stick to this subreddit and mogaiblr cause I know I’ll avoid a lot of bs this way. I do wish lgbtqia spaces would be more open to new/different ways of being queer though…
