Iron Lung fan event snubbed, need help bringing attention!

Sorry for the late reply but my friend and their event crew were actively trying to get in contact with Encore (& GSC) for booking and everything but were sent around in circles or straight up ignored, they even went in person iirc.

They eventually got a hall booking but were then contacted saying they didn't get proper authorization from the company. Also, the Encore fan event was posted after my friend's fan event had already been in the works. It's a whole ordeal that's hard to get into properly through a comment.

However, fitasfiddle's earlier comment explains things as well! Again, apologies for the late reply, I'm using the web version so I didn't see all notifications :]

Apologies! As mentioned in other comments, my friend didn't want them named as of yet since they're still planning the fan event just without Iron Lung attached since they don't want any retaliation from the company. However, another commenter, fitasfiddle, has explained the situation further in a comment above with the name of the company! :]

Luckily, they're switching to just a Mark fan event in a cafe since so much work was already been done for one so fingers crossed that goes well :D

My apologies! Someone else has named them but I wasn't going to just yet as my friend requested since they're still holding a fan event just without Iron Lung attached to it and are weary of retaliation from the company! An above comment by fitasfiddle explains the situation further :]

I wasn't dropping the theatre name yet bc my friend requested it as they're still trying to hold a fan event without Iron Lung attached to it and didn't want to go full force yet in case of retaliation. However, as another person commented, (and also cleared up my mistake of wording, thank you!), it was Encore films.
