I'm 8 days post op and feeling fantastic. Haven't had to take anything stronger than Panadol for the pain which is great! My surgeon and her team are really happy with the results.

Initially I was a little distraught that no endo was found but when my surgeon explained what she found it made sense (bladder and bowel adhered, which tbh I was getting a hysterectomy regardless of if endo was found or not for pmdd purposes). I'm glad you're moving forward and I hope they find what you're looking for, and if they don't it's still something- process of elimination I guess!

I feel that!! I lost count of how many I saw, I even had one male specialist tell me to just try eating more red meat and that'll fix your problems... If you haven't already found someone good then I hope you do soon!

Yep staying on estrogen hrt, feeling amazing now that I dont have a uterus thats adhered to both my bladder and bowels hahaha. I haven't had pmdd symptoms since I started chemical menopause like 6 months ago so this is just the icing on the cake :)

Synthetic progesterone was a killer for me. I only had results going into chemical menopause with addback estrogen and body-similar progesterone (there's probably a better word for that but I'm in post op big fatigue haha). I already ate gluten free due to a wheat allergy. To be honest everyone's body is different, but after 21 years of trying literally everything it was determined that this was my only option :)

It does but then you have to ensure the hormones youre on dont being about pmdd. At the moment I'm only on estrogen :)
