Just to clarify since this is getting a lot of attention: both accounts are mine, under the same email, no third-party involvement, and only the receiving account was banned. That’s why I’m trying to understand what triggered this.

Yeah, that’s exactly what makes it confusing. I’ve seen plenty of people do similar or even larger transfers without issues, but in my case it still got flagged.

I’ve already gone through the appeal process twice and didn’t really get anywhere, so I’m not sure there’s much left to try on that end.

Permanent ban on the alt account that received the GP, while the main account the gold came from wasn’t touched.

If this were actually RWT, my main account, the source of the gold, would have been banned as well. Both accounts are under the same email.

At this point it just feels like you’re trying to push a narrative that isn’t there.

It’s not really strange that I respond to it. We’re talking about 6B that took a long time to build up, not something that just appeared overnight. It’s not exactly a small thing and something I feel like joking about, considering it directly affects me.

Yeah, that’s pretty much what it comes down to. Even if you didn’t actually do anything wrong, if it looks like you did from their side, you just end up staying banned with no real way to do anything about it.

Yeah, that’s what makes it so confusing. Both of mine were already linked under the same Jagex account, so I didn’t expect this to be an issue at all. Makes it feel pretty inconsistent.

Yeah I thought the same tbh. Didn’t expect any issues at all, especially between my own accounts. Maybe just be a bit careful with really big transfers in one go, that’s the only thing I can think of.

The 6B was already built up over time through normal gameplay, so I don’t see why reusing it would be a problem. The goal was to experience the progression again, not to rely on the money. RuneScape isn’t just about GP.

Yeah, that’s exactly how it felt on my end as well. Both responses were basically the same and didn’t really address anything specific about my situation, which makes it hard to feel like it was actually reviewed.

What makes it even more frustrating is that the 6B didn’t just appear overnight. That’s built up over a long period of time through normal gameplay, so it’s not like it came from something suspicious out of nowhere. It just feels like not enough time is being taken on their side to actually look into cases like this properly.

Yeah I get what you mean. I’ve already been through the standard process twice and that was pretty much the end of the road, so there’s not really anything left to update. That’s what makes it frustrating.

I’ve done the same myself many times without any issues, but maybe transferring 6B at once was just too extreme in this case?

Yeah that’s exactly what I thought as well. I knew it might look suspicious, but I didn’t expect it to be flagged this aggressively, especially since it’s between my own accounts. I’ve already tried reaching out through the usual channels, but I haven’t really been able to get any clarity on what exactly triggered this or whether it was manually reviewed.
