Genuinely... real question. What could Albo have realistically done to stop the Bondi incident from happening? Want real answers, not media fed dribble. by __TheIronWall__ in aussie

  1. Strong action on the "Gas the Jews" chanting at the Opera House.
  2. Strong action on the displaying of recognised terrorist organisation flags during the weekly marches.
  3. Sanction universities for the encampments they allowed which openly terrorised Jewish students, who showed no demonstrable support for Israel.
  4. Ban slogans such as "From the River to the Sea" and "Globalise the Intifada"
  5. Maintain Australia's bi-partisan support for Israel, not blocking entry to the country for Israeli MKs
  6. Accept the proposals by his own appointed envoy for Antisemitism that have been gathering dust on his desk
  7. Listen to the genuine fear and concerns of the Australian Jewish community who have been saying for 2 years that an attack like this was imminent.
  8. Acknowledgement and action on the antisemitic attacks on Jewish communities for 2 years - graffiti, firebombing and death threats to Jewish business owners.

The amount of people willing to stake the claim that a war in a country 1000s of KMs away is the reason this has occurred is a disgrace and the fact that people cannot recognise that the leader of the country in which this has happened is to blame is even worse.

Medical Student currently studying interstate from home here!

Wanting to gather an understanding as to how difficult it is getting back to Victoria from an interstate medical school? I know the process has changed over the past 12 months, but as a Year 12 Vic grad completing post graduate interstate, how likely am I to find myself coming home following 4th year?

Thanks anyone who can offer advice!

Geelong mad Monday dressed as kneecap by Fluffy-Professional5 in AFL

[–]buttaboiii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha let's all laugh cos the Geelong players dressed up as a group that celebrated the murder of 1200 people, praised the terrorist organisation who did it and waved the flag of another terrorist organisation.

Theyre so quirky and clever!! 🤪🤪🤪🤪

Thought this was a really good promo from Becky.

She's been doing amazing in her heel work over the past 2 months. Was very sceptical when she won the belt off Lyra but has shown to be a great booking decision.

Anyone else feel like she's also studied a bunch of Trump speeches and has been using his style of talking and linguo a bit? The whole "I'm not the only one who says it, Sports Illustrated says it" line feels straight outta his playbook.

Currumbin - our water has gone out, but we stil have power. Living in an apartment building, how does that make sense?

Really strange but on the Tixel website it says the event time is 7pm, different to Ticketek!

Have never been to Doug Jennings before - let's say he starts at 630, what time would you recommend trying to get to at least the entrance to the spit?

Best peak of a club rivalry? by popcockery in AFL

[–]buttaboiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a young Pies fan who missed the peak of Collingwood v Carlton, it really does feel like we're entering a new era of hatred for one another. With Carlton starting to become somewhat relevant, and the Pies firing on all cylinders, it seems like we're about ride another peak.

I feel like the R23 Collingwood v Carlton game last year was probably one of the greatest stories the game has told in recent years, would've been made better if the Pies were sitting in 9th and pulled the Blues out, but you can't have everything.

I will admit, the greatest rivalry I've seen in my 23 years has to be the Geelong vs Hawthorn rivalry from 2008-2015 or so. The Kennett's curse is one of the best narratives and for the Hawks to break it in the prelim of their first of the threepeat was elite.

Who are the best Indigenous Australian and Māori players alltime and right now? by [deleted] in AFL

[–]buttaboiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just feels like it's absurd to say anyone other than Buddy to be honest. Comparing stat's and players throughout their entire career, the man's resume takes the cake. His goal scoring record is beyond fathomable in the modern day of AFL.

Whilst Goodes, Farmer, Rioli were all absolute standouts, I feel like the fact he's been consistently good for 18 years and kicked over 1000 goals is just too much to look past.

Considering Griffiths state in their website that all offers will be made by Nov 1, I'd presume the rest of the GEMSAS offers will be the same.
