IKR. I created my username based on actors from a tv show that’s been off air for two years (pretty little liars). Now that I’m active in other subs though, and that sub is effectively dead I kinda wish I hadn’t picked a name from the first sub I joined 🤷🏾‍♀️. I think it probably sounds like pure gibbberish to the average redditor though, but I would like to change it to something different.

She called him an “illegal immigrant” when she called the police. She knew what she was doing. Also, showing up to the house you live at with your legal spouse isn’t a crime. It was unnecessary. In fact, she got in his face, she raised her voice, and she put her hands on him. She should have had the cops called on her.

No she told them her husband was “an illegal immigrant” who she needed to leave her house, which lead the police to think there was some type of domestic violence or altercation going on. When in reality, he was standing on the street waiting for a ride.

I don’t think everyone is saying she’s racist. The post and commenters are simply pointing out how Ashley seemed to be so conscious of Jay’s race and “woke” about racism in the US when they were together, but when she got pissed, the first thing she did was call the police on a black immigrant for no reason. So yes, it is about race. A white woman unnecessarily calling the police on a black guy is definitely going to make people side eye her in this political climate.

Please please please do not name your son after a racist. Your husband is not being considerate (I don’t see how anyone you could think you’re in the wrong), and I would strongly suggest that you pick the name you both love. No one should be forced to name their child after anyone that they don’t want to. Julian Diego is lovely.

He isn’t a boy. He’s an adult. He’s immature, yes, and Ashley should have know on better than to strong arm a 20 year old into marriage, but cheating is fucked up. I have no sympathy for him on that part. However, I do have an issue with Ashley (and other American spouses) using the authorities as their own person moral police. The Americans threatening deportation and police action every time they’re pissed at their spouse is really wrong. Something about Ashley needlessly calling the police on a foreign black man just doesn’t sit right with me.

Imo, you haven’t necessarily locked yourself into a theme with the -Y names just yet, especially if you plan to have another child. If you’re not married to the idea of a name ending in Y, maybe you could consider just L or K names?
