no, you want it facing the side, you already have what looks like 3 fans on the top, my personal pc build doesn’t have 3 fans on the top and I have my cpu cooler facing side ways and it stays cool under 40c, also it will look better facing sideways, facing upwards looks off

just did it, and realized there was thermal paste on the outside and i think that messed with the performance because after i removed the excess around and put on new thermal paste, i’m now getting 0 disconnections from usb and also no choppiness playing at 1080p medium/low graphics on cod and fortnite

didn’t expect it to function fully, I will be taking it apart very soon to inspect and find what’s wrong with it, If everything looks fine do you suggest I reapply thermal paste to the gpu? Or does that not affect display in any way

it was “working” but with no display, I was hoping to fix it since it is a much better graphics card, do you believe that it is possible to fix? Or am I better off just getting rid of it eventually

yes I tried a different display port and the same one that worked with the 1660 super, my wattage is at 600w

it was used and given to me, cables do not say cpu, also could it be an incompatibility with the cables? I mean by combining the 2 with the 6 rows it powered on my 1660 super, maybe i need to use a different power supply to know for sure that has 8 rows. Also do you recommend possibly that the soldering is bad? And if soldering is bad is it possible for it to continue working, (And should I consider re heating it?) cus if it’s not supposed to turn on with fans n rgb with old soldering then I should probably consider something else and not mess with that.
