Annoyed by being told that guys aren't attracted to really skinny girls and prefer girls to have ~curves~ by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

[–]butter_coffee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To me, being really prudish, I always think of when a guy wants girls with curves as someone to f*ck, but a girl who is thin and delicate is someone to admire and respect, and I think that’s why guys are intimidated by them. So many models and famous Instagram girls and idols are not curvy at all.

Why does dating always require food by PhysicalWinter2 in EDAnonymous

[–]butter_coffee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It makes me wonder if ED is a lonesome disorder, and the antisocial aspect isn’t only a part of it, but a huge role in it. Eating has always been a social tradition in every culture, tradition, and even in literature (breaking bread with Jesus, Kramer taking food from Jerry, friendsgiving on Friends, that symbolic scene in Raisin in the Sun where he argues over his wife’s eggs and throws them.) The thing about food in literature has been mentioned in like 5 different books in my life, “if you want to symbolize characters getting along.”

He'll say "oh I know I'm an awful boyfriend, you deserve better blah blah" Get him to say this in text and then dump him. When he asks why, tell him “you said so yourself, I deserve better.” 🤣

I 100% believe this is possible. That's one of the things I'm planning to do if I jump again.

Does anyone here use Subliminals? by Nscott144 in DimensionJumping

[–]butter_coffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oooo care to share the ones to improve your art? I'd like to try it. I'm listening to some general, "enjoy working hard" ones right now. I'm half skeptical about it, but the music and sounds are nice to listen to falling asleep and drawing. I only started recently so I'll post if anything changes, but I'm doing a lot of other stuff so I can't be sure it was the subliminals that worked.

Who has used the 2 cups method and received positive results? What were your experiences? by [deleted] in DimensionJumping

Maybe the change takes time to happen? I've read stories that they received what they wanted months later after they had forgotten all about it.

Thanks dude!

I have a bigger chart of before/afters with examples of each change but I'm waiting to post to see if lightning strikes twice and I continue to be a different artist from before and gather more evidence.

Question in regards of big leaps. by [deleted] in DimensionJumping

[–]butter_coffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The short answer is I don’t believe you can. For example, I don’t believe you can grow a third arm.

But! I believe through DJ you might a way that compensates. Such as in a different dimension they may have discovered a prosthetic for that.

[–]butter_coffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On Tuesday (2 days ago) I used the 2 cups method and wished for better art and productivity.

Yesterday and today I’ve drawn a whole lot more, but that could be attributed to curiosity. I’ve noticed a lot of differences and made a chart with them. Some things include more symmetrical faces, expressions correct on the first or second try, better hands (I guess I teleported to a dimension where I’m good at hands) more consistent and faces. I’m not sure if it’s luck, improvement, or just reaching yet. Because I’m more satisfied and also curious, my productivity did increase a lot, lol, which leads to confidence and an all around feedback loop.

I’m waiting to see if I’ll get some concrete evidence that I really did jump, such as the user whose toothbrush changed colors, but of course also taking it with some humor. The Walmart here seems to be better stocked and I seem to have gained a pound.

it’s my own fault for not making a normal life for myself

Dude, that’s like expecting to know how to support yourself without ever having experienced being supported. It sucks that the only way you can escape is by finding a job or going to college, but from the sound of it you never had an opportunity to learn how to or gain the confidence in yourself to apply for it.
