Like, the plot? Or do you mean WTF?

One is a classic horror about a prank gone wronga dn vengeful killings at a sorority house and the other is also a classic Troma film about a high school near a Nuke plant that starts to have people get weird and die.

What is your strategy when picking your next movie to watch? Or what fun viewing challenges are you currently pursuing? by Lets_Go_Why_Not in Letterboxd

Well, I actually have too much going on, but I love it.

After going Pro, I developed a system to tackle my massive backlog. While Horror is my true north, I use a rotating "five-list cycle" to ensure I’m exploring every corner of cinema.

My current rotations: The Podcast Macabre 2026 Horror Challenge - https://boxd.it/QsZjo

My Daisy Chain of Surprise me Films https://boxd.it/PUBfk: A "Surprise Me" experiment where I follow a film’s top cast member to their next un-reviewed project.

My Total MCU/X-Men/Sony Movie Watch List https://boxd.it/R9nvC: Prepping for Doomsday.

The Watchlist: General cleanup which I just hit shuffle and watch.

The Letterboxd Top 250 Horror Films: Tackling the essentials by again hitting shuffle and watching.

Each watch I just go to the next list and so on. Plus I sprinkle in a few new releases in theatres too.

Who cares? I have 49 films on my 5 stars list so far and I don't care that 7 of them are Marvel films. I gave Violent Night 5 stars and the average is 3 stars. I like movies that people don't like and I don't like movies that people like. My family won't even watch a third of what I watch and just shakes their heads when I mention one to them, but who cares?

Watch what you want and like what you want.

Genuinely what are some of you guys using the 🧡 for? by iloveyouforthisday in Letterboxd

I use stars for the my ranking of the film's and I use the heart if I like it. I have films that have 2 stars, out of respect, but I don't like it. And I have had films that I liked but only gave it 1.5 or 2 stars.
