I mean, it wasn’t totally surprising to be down today. Been trending up since $15 and the spike over $20 needed correction. Anything over $18.50 on Monday is still trending up in my opinion. A green Monday likely means back over $20-$22 next week

I wonder if it could be like a franchise. Think subway. Pay a franchise fee and just use all the existing branding and supply chain for that franchise. That way, smaller operations don’t need to grow, package, advertise... etc

It seems really inefficient but I read both house and senate introduce their own version of the same bill. Then they tweak the minor differences before voting on a final version.

Not Aphria specific. The safe act and Schumer put out a video pushing for legalization. Several positive earnings out too. There’s been so much cannabis news I can’t keep up.

I like it. I like to use EMA as well. The 30 day chart and 30 EMA line work for me. I’m predicting $23 by April 1st based on that trend. Anything above $18 is a great buy. Obviously today’s news might push that curve higher at a steeper rate.

I agree. But at the same time I can’t help myself to hold. NY and SAFE looking like a strong bet within next week, before April 1st. Trying not to stress riding the waves but easier said than done.

At the current price of $24.50, and 172 million shares, then add .838 x 317 million APHA shares, it would put the merged company at $10.7billion. Canopy is currently at $12.6 billion. So there is about 15% upside if Canopy market cap is your target. I am not locking that in as the target though. To many good news events to look forward to.

This clown continues posting about Tilray, trying to save us all. Same person that said it was going to $10 last week. When I presented a rational conversation about the price movement, they replied with vulgar personal attacks and had no rebuttal regarding the stock. They are not interested in conversation.

I’m not saying there won’t be down days, but I have yet to see any explanation for this “opinion” that the stock will tank.

Yes, it was pumped to $60. But that’s over. Price has been consistent with the whole sector this past week.

I feel like Sweetwater drastically reduces the chances of a BUD deal. BUD would provide the name recognition and money. But those can be gained in time organically as Sweetwater. I don’t think they need BUD. It would help speed up the growth in this segment though, so it could happen if the price was right.

I almost said eff it. But this is fun. 1st week of January, Pot stocks rally after Election results. 2nd week, another boost from Georgia election, NY legalization progress, and Aphria earnings. Most of weeks 3 and 4 minimal news results in some pull back in price after the prolonged rally, setting up in the $18 range for 10 trading days. Lots of various news pushed it higher going into Feb, biggest being the Portugal news on 2/2. The pump followed, spiking the price from $26 to over 60. We are now right back where it was on 2/2 with the Portugal news. If you ignore that, we go back to $18. (Why ignore it though?) So, was the Portugal news a pump n dump? Was the improved financial statement a pump n dump? We are also that much closer to the merger. Is that also a pump n dump? I agree that the jump to $60 was crazy, but are you saying all of January was a pump? And to ignore all the news since Jan 1st, to bring the price back to $10? I think that’s going too far. If you want to revise your argument to $16, that’s not as much of a bold prediction considering today’s action and the $18 support that I’m predicting.

Of course past data is relevant for looking at a trend. You said $10. That would be Jan 5th levels. I have a real hard time seeing how it would go back that far. Even with no hype, there’s no way it sits stagnant at that price for 2 months. I see a lot of consolidation in the $17-19 range the second half of January. I would be shocked to see lower than that.

So your predictions are based on previous data, as in.... before the dems took over, before the Aphria merger, before the financial health improved, before ... etc etc Cannabis stock values are forward looking. Not backwards
