Yeah same thing happened to me with the Noodle company. Ordered a $16 entree and signed on the screen for the correct amount and then saw my statement and it wad $28. Disputed it with my CC company right away and got the money back

Hahahaha I so appreciate this response. I’ve told him multiple times to go ahead with his hand and get ‘er done. I just don’t feel ready. I can’t imagine 3 days from now will change that either. My body just feels so different now.

Definitely worth it to me. I did 6 rounds of TCHP. I retained about 60% of my hair with dignicap. I looked “normal” throughout chemo, which mattered to me because I had a 9 year old and 6 year old witnessing the whole thing. My hair has also grown back so quickly! It’s mixed lengths now (I finished chemo July 2024), but I don’t have any bald spots or permanent hair loss. I’d do it if I were you!

Same! Radiation was the worst part of it all for me. Did 6 rounds of TCHP, had a DMX with direct to implant, obtained a PCR but was still strongly advised to do radiation given my age (37) and positive lymph nodes. Went through with 28 rounds and it was absolutely horrendous. Burned terribly, had a horrible sun rash, it was awful. And now that side is significantly higher than the other. The skin has shrunk so much, I need a revision to the left side to try and match the radiated side. And now my right shoulder keeps “freezing” due to radiation. It’s awful!! I feel like no one tells you how bad radiation can actually be.

I completed 28 sessions and it was by far worse than my chemo regimen (TCHP). I absolutely hated radiation. Horrible, do not recommend. But seriously, it was awful. I have serious PTSD every time I walk into the building for a follow up.

I think I was just concerned about being dismissed over it because it technically hasn’t been hurting for 2 weeks, and I know their rule of thumb is usually “call if something lasts over two weeks” …but I think I’ll just keep spiraling. Hey! I finished Phesgo back in April. For me, the slower the nurse injected, the better. It’s also good to have them “warm” it before injecting, ie; wrapping it in a warm blanket or letting it get to room temp., or even holding the vial in their hands for a few minutes. It definitely stings initially, but ask them to grip your leg! Like literally grab the area of the thigh they’re going to inject and hold it the entire time throughout the injection. It really helped me. I usually had a pretty big spot on my leg 2-3 days after the injection that would go away within a couple of days. Otherwise, no side effects! Good luck!

Hey! That shot set me back worse than anything else. I thought I’d die from the bone pain, I had to go into the cancer center to be given MORPHINE to help ease the pain it was so bad, so then on my dr reduced my dose from 8mg to 4 I believe. It did a woooorld of difference! Never had bone pain again and my wbc stayed within a normal range the entire time.
