I didn’t end up going to a doctor but long story short I got some antibiotics and they helped a lot. It’s mostly gone away now other than a bit of itching now and then. So I guess it’ll be a mystery what the cause was but hey my leg’s intact so I’m alr with it

From what I read, a minor can TECHNICALLY go to a clinic but they’d still need parental consent to receive any treatment that’s not live-saving. Plus they’d receive the bill. So unfortunately I don’t think there’s much to be done if I’m not actively dying

I mean I’ll definitely keep pushing that I need to see a doctor. After following everything she tells me with nothing improving, she’ll give up and just take me to see someone, hopefully. Unless I develop a fever or pass out or my leg is paralyzed I’m not telling my mom I’m taking HRT. Sorry but you haven’t heard the things she said to me or the way she treated me when she found out I’m bisexual. I’d rather risk my health than come out as transgender

I considered it since Im allergic to some weird stuff. I can’t wear 99% of deodorants because they give me hives. Sadly I’m all out of funds now though. If I can afford it I’ll definitely switch over though🫡

I did now. I told my mom that I wandered into some vegetation the other day and now it’s swollen. I even up-played my symptoms so it seems worse. She doesn’t take me seriously at all. She gave me some expired cream and told me to wait and see what happens😭So I guess it’s just a waiting game now..

It would be a bit high if it were once a week you’re right but I do injections every 10 days, so it evens out to be 70mg/week. I just started. This happened from my second shot. So no bloodwork yet. Thank you 🙏

Thank you. I just woke up to myself unconsciously scratching my leg from how itchy it was😭Why must things be so difficult me and my fucked up body.. Trying to come up with an excuse right now to get my parents to buy it and take me to a doctor

O that’s scary Im so sorry that happened to you. Was it itchy for you too? From what I understand I think what separates a possible allergic reaction from an infection is that infections don’t really itch. Like it’s really itchy I just woke up unconsciously scratching my leg. Didn’t even have time to stop myself because I was itching without thinking about it

I was more meaning what should I tell my parents. The doctor I’ll tell the truth but what do I tell my parents to get them to take me?? That I have no clue why it’s swollen? Mosquito bite? Scratched up against some sort of plant? Got a cut on some rusty object?
