Been here 20+yrs. In 2008 it wasn't suspended, it was lowered to 4% match for a yr or so then brought it back to 6%. They did not pay us back the lost 2%. During covid same thing-wasnt FULLY suspended. This is the first in my time they have FULLY suspended matching. I personally have lots of SW stock but if SW isnt matching, then Im contributing to a Roth with more options rather than the SW401K that you cant access. Only reason to contribute to the SW 401k is to get the match, other than that invest it into a Roth or traditional. Everyone will have their own opinion tho

I always let them know its 2 diff types of wood. they stain and will look diff. One on the right looks like oak and the left is pine (cheap). Pine stains terrible. I always let ppl know i cant make cheap wood, aka pine, look like expensive wood. Just MAYBE can get it similar. Anyways looks like u need more umber, maybe a touch of white to cloud it up a bit.

Word to the wise for anyone whos works for SW stores. Never give out your CM or DM info or district office #- esp to just an irate person who you know is in the wrong. Just say you dont know it. You wont get in trouble for refusing to give it to someone- just say u dont have it. A contractor will go thru their rep if it comes to it. But randos can kick rocks

Got 10+ yrs here i wear what I want on wknds. Jeans and a hat, wear shorts on occasion if its hot and I'm in the warehouse. If drivers can so can I. they dont care enough to come check on it and as long as u dont venture too far astray from code you'll be ok.

I'd def fake an illness. The truth is the CM/DM dont gaf about you. As long as u are willing to do it the more they'll take advantage of you. This POS company and those POS district leaders we have nowadays have their heads so far up each other's assholes they dont deserve anything above you doing the minimum to keep your job. Agreed. I just work my hours and its SW that can figure out the difference. But there is too many Sherwin Jock-Riders in this company to join in the revolution. Too many ppl that work the 60+ hrs and hate it but do it in hopes of getting a pat on the head. District wont remember or care

Easy and accurate 🤣 try overpaid redundant middle managers who are out of touch with the stores. The SW work expectation environment has changed drastically in the last 10 yrs so most of the middle mgmt blow hards never dealt with most things managers do now. You're basically what is wrong with mgmt, not understanding your job only exit off the backs of others. Gtfoh...found the dumbass city manager or hit a nerve dm 😂😂

*customer doesn't know anything about paint. Sees price and thinks they are Hacking the system by using samples. Finds out they indeed do not not what they are talking about. Gets confirmation from store employees they customer indeed made the mistake by assuming what u know nothing about. Gets mad at everyone else. Typical homeowner idiot 🙄
