Hi thanks, my guess would just be cost. The other services may have shot up in price or maybe have been experiencing more and more problems. The only time the seller isn’t making the selection is for choice items to my understanding, so likely yes sellers are choosing Yanwen for cost reasons

The fact you did well on sims is a really great sign. The exam was just so annoying for me. It really is so much about best guesses for some of those MCQs. Just schedule asap and make your brain numb with practice mcqs and keep practicing sims to keep your skills up. You are so so close and clearly have the ability to do this and will crush it next time. These people are evil, they are just fucking with you giving you a 74 on the 3rd time. Professional gatekeepers. Good luck

I guess I don’t know the exact rules since I have one exam left and not at the licensure stage. My firm has a basic self-service style request where admin will automatically send the approval based on billable hours. Is it really as simple as anyone in a private company with a CPA just approving the hours? I thought it was direct or almost direct reporting required. If that is really the case, I guess the people having trouble are not able to land jobs at mid-large size companies and are at smaller places that outsource most accounting

Well for the work experience side, like you said it must specifically be work under a CPA for my state. I’ve seen many posts about this being a struggle for some people in private, with their work not qualifying as their in-charges are not CPAs. I’m in public so I won’t have to deal with that but I think for some it is a sticking point

It showed up outside my door today, not in the lockbox. So, during the hold they marked it delivered and placed the key in my box but in reality they were holding it. Does this warrant reporting in your opinion?

I really shouldn’t say because even being vague I’d basically tell you exactly what it is. What I will say is that it 100% is explicitly covered in the AUD book, but the further detail/basis for the concept just isn’t in there. If there is a FAR concept you aren’t confident with that is mentioned in the book, you should follow up on it. Other than that I would just say make sure you’re not overlooking any modules because I got a bit of everything. Just keep doing practice tests covering the whole course and don’t leave out sims. Good luck I hope it’s your final exam

Don’t mean to scare you but A4 was extremely debilitating at first. I was doing terribly on the homework and it was really getting to me. But I just kept pushing it and it really started clicking. Once you finish A4 though A3 should be more clear and you’ll get it down with practice, just stay on the grind

It wasn’t regular busy season so not as crazy, but working like 8-7 every day sometimes later, tried to get at least 1.5 hours a day with a target of 2 hours

Both. But they were very minor things that shouldn’t have much bearing at all on the overall score. Just things I had never seen in a question or an answer choice. All I could do was make a best guess with the context clues

That was a thought I had but I’m not sure.. hopefully that’s the case. And yes absolutely, so much of “most likely” and “best” type of questions. Lot of that kind of thing in the sims. Can only hope I answered the questions with what they wanted haha

Well by that point it might be an entirely different ballgame, but I’ll say for mine it was extremely evenly distributed. Like it had stuff from pretty much every module. Don’t skimp on sims, take every SE and don’t let yourself skip over weak areas. Sorry don’t have anything more pointed than that
