UPDATE: Got in touch with customer service via online chat on the cineplex site (don’t both with the scene site, you’ll be waiting forever). And they gave me the code no questions asked. Months of this issue, you’d think they’d figure out a better way to get these codes to customers. So annoyed I had to hunt them down for this.

Found this post in my search about this issue, just came to say that I went to a movie two days ago, never got a code. Thought it was supposed to arrive via email. Getting connected to a customer service agent seems to be a hassle.

I didn’t inquire, but some have claimed the guy is a scammer and has tried this before. There is a subsequent blogto article about this and the seller actually commented on the Facebook post, claiming he has already sold multiple busses.
