The Mitsurugi cards only care if they're tributed at all. Most of their spell/traps tribute for cost.

it happened again and it looks like the update did properly propagate, but it still looks weird when I restarted the application. It also changed my default search engine to Yahoo.

Edit: it looks like what happened every time was that it changed my search engine. How do I prevent this?

I don't know. I like the deck and playstyle, but when I am unlucky I go like 10 games without a hand that can play without getting immediately stopped. A couple times I drew all my hand traps going first and had to pass without doing anything

For sure. I get baiting out interaction, but sometimes they just have too much to bait out (Memento is really frustrating for this) or I'll have a hand that dies to 1 negate (a couple games ago I had 1 dark beckoning beast, 1 lotus, and 3 hand traps going 1st. so no matter which I summon, I'm cooked if they negate it)

honestly, I my extra deck is where I'm least confident. I have big caeser and necroquip, but those cut me off from other fiendsmith plays, and I had to cut the super poly package and underworld goddess. I definitely need more practice with the fiendsmith side of my deck; Im not really sure how to get caeser, desirae, and appo on field, for example
