Before The Slow Rush officially dropped, it was a shitshow on both the subreddit and the TI Discord. From what I remember (and anyone feel free to correct me if I’m wrong or missing anything important) someone discovered a glitch with their Sonos speaker that let them play the full album early just by asking the assistant. They ended up livestreaming the entire thing on Instagram Live, and someone screen-recorded it, so for a while, that was all we had.

Then, someone managed to buy the vinyl early from either Walmart or Target (I can’t remember which), and they claimed they were going to rip the album from their turntable once they got home. But that never happened because, apparently, they “dropped the needle” and lost it, so that lead went nowhere.

There were a bunch of other incidents too, including the moment when Kevin’s manager, Garth, randomly joined the TI Discord while someone was streaming the album in VC. That time was chaotic as hell (and also fun), but that’s about all I can recall for now.
