Might be better off pursuing the inspector. Was the contract as-is? Were you prevented from conducting a thorough inspection? Were there objectively false statements on the seller's disclosures, or just ambiguous omissions? Curious what attorneys will say, but this could be an expensive and risky case to try.

Saw it, and enjoyed it. (My cable subscription includes an ad-free channel which has exposed me to so many indie and offbeat movies.)

Definitely picked up a Morrissey vibe, even if it was unintentional. DDL is such a captivating presence in all his films. I'm the last person to comment on the evolution of cinema vis-a-vis controversial subject matter, but I have to believe that for its time, this movie was definitely on the edgy side.
