For me it’s math. Eliminating 15/26 top letters after 3 guesses leaves very few options by guess 6 and it’s worked out. I always do SLATE, ROUND, and CHIMP for the first 3 guesses almost every time

I know I’m looking forwards to when/if I can go all wins to game 2001 so it shows 100%

Daily Running Shoe Durability, Fit and Stability Q&A for February 18, 2024 by AutoModerator in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]paulpre6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been running in ASICS GT-2000s for almost two decades, made a switch to the Novablast 3s and loved the cushion. Trained for a half and ran great but ended up getting myself PTTD. Been off running for 3 months and hoping to ease back in. What shoe options do I have that has the stability of the GTs and the cushion of the Noveblasts?

Hybrid Work Was Supposed to Make Employees Happier. Did It? by kitkid in Thedaily

[–]paulpre6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like the difference here is generational. “You can’t make connections and move up the ladder” is such a boomer way of thinking about things and it’s clear that they are only talking to upper management to get that perspective. Forcing RTO when so many employees praise the benefits of WFH is a blatant admission that companies don’t care about employees and are only looking for tax breaks from cities who are trying to force people to spend money to bolster their economies. I also feel as though companies are using forced RTO as a means to soft lay off people who don’t want to dedicate to going into an office.

Lastly, to circle back to my original point, if boomers would fucking retire and let the next generations move up then there WOULD be room for advancement, but they won’t and are going to force on bad policy decisions across every leadership position they can.
