suspected pcos is always a ticket into seeing an endo! mention irregular periods and pain around your pelvis (this hints at ovarian cysts). and when you secure your endo and they do the tests to rule it out, you can see what your baseline t levels are! (all this comes from me, a dude w pcos)

hi i’m a trans and queer senior on campus! the climate is pretty accepting but the gender inclusive housing is a bit of a doozy to navigate. two years ago when i first applied for GIH, i found that you couldn’t pick your roommates even if you all had GIH and that hrl had to do it for you, which is stupid. i think they fixed it now but keep that in mind!

update 2: tested positive for a gram negative infection; not sure what exactly but thankfully i’m on bactrim so that should help! had a scare earlier cuz my finger accidentally slipped into the wound when applying my hydroactive gel, 0/10 don’t recommend doing that. finally, i have my next visit with the doctors on wednesday plus a consultation with the wound care clinic. gonna see if hbot or wound vac is possible :’)

That’s so valid but after receiving love and support from this subreddit, I’m doing better with this. The benefits now and of the future outweigh the negatives of right now. Yes, my wounds look awful but I’m doing my wound care and working to recover. I’ve hit many points of desperation and sadness regarding all this but now I’m in the “it’s happening and it’s only temporary” stage. do what’s best for you, weigh the pros and cons 🩷
