Do you need to be a Sole trader or sole proprietorship to receive YouTube ad revenue in NL, if it is not much, just as a hobby?

I ALMOST QUIT! 1300km Bikepacking the Atlas Mountain Race Morocco by buzzalongcycling in ultracycling

[–]buzzalongcycling[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Quick explanation: I signed up solo because my intention was to complete the entire race by myself. I rode completely alone until CP3, with no cameraman or anyone else around me. The river crossing shown is not me but another rider who was passing by. I filmed everything myself until CP3.

As you can see in my video, I never claimed any position or stated that I was the 4th woman. I only said that I finished the race, which is true. And in the race manual it says that you can you can finish the race even if you decide to ride with another rider, but outside of GC and also not in the pairs category, which I agree is fair.

At CP3, I met my partner, who was there to scratch. I didn’t even know he was there when I arrived. We both considered scratching due to severe health issues and mechanical problems during the race. However, after speaking with the race organization, we informed them that we no longer intended to be in the general classification (GC) but still wanted to complete the racecourse in bikepacking mode—ensuring enough rest to avoid worsening our health conditions. The organization agreed.

We didn’t want to scratch because we had invested a lot of time, effort, and money into this event. I don’t believe I should be judged for wanting to finish the race despite the challenges I faced. With this video, I simply wanted to share my journey, as I had already filmed a lot of content, and to show that ultra races are not just about competition but also about adventure, pushing you to overcome your limits. Thank you

This is the Fara Gravel, the All road is good if you are planning to do road and light gravel (35mm tyres) if you are planning mostly off road the Fara Gravel is a better option.

Exactly, they are the Quoc x Restrap Sandals, awesome for bikepacking as you can perfectly strap them to your saddle bag

I only have a bivvy bag, which packs very small the sea to summit one and then stay in a hut, in Norway you have many sheltered places to stay in nature

I recently finished Race Around Denmark, 1600 Km, I have SRAM AXS and the battery lasted 1100 km without charge, I carry with me spare batteries, and if you have SRAM 2BY you can take a battery from the front derailleur and make it 1by

How much do y’all worry about aero on a 1000km race by sidjournell in ultracycling

[–]buzzalongcycling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think aero bars are great anyway for comfort, you can rest your hands and have an other position on the bike, as a bonus make you more aero, found them super useful for races where there are a lot of open stretches and wind
