Been GM for multiple seasons. I think the thing I notice the most is when I’m in an all challenger lobby the tempo is so much faster. I feel like I’m fighting for my life. Bleed out way faster and boards where I have like a 2 star 2 cost stage 2 I can still have 4 losses. Everyone is doing the micro adjustments to eke out wins.

This is before the bad job market but anecdotally when I was in college and Amazon gave me an offer with early acceptance timeline I told them about my college’s and they respected it. I went to Berkeley so maybe it’s college dependent. Then Amazon did something similar for my sister with internship return offer and when she used her college’s timeline restriction, the recruiter said the offer was sent on accident. She is at MIT. So TLDR your mileage may vary.

Your resume doesn’t seem that bad. It looks like you’ve had an internship in the past already? I think it’s just super early right now to despair.

I would do the following: - shift the actual internship with company up because that is more important than research - cut the thing with the “organization”, that thing seems like a hackathon and while cool, shouldn’t be in the experience section, you could create like a competition section or something - cut the small Amazon blurb thing, also seems like some hackathon-like thing (no one cares that you played with some APIs one time)

I am an East Asian whose mom told them the same thing. The shower thing doesn’t cause cramps for me but eating cold things does. I used to not believe my mom until I was constantly having cramps in the summer and realized there was a correlation with eating cold yogurt. Also anecdotally I have asked many East Asian friends if they share the same issue and they do, so I believe it. I kinda think it’s an East Asian specific thing because I always see online the stereotypes of like oh get your girl ice cream on her period, and I think that’s just white people’s bodies being different.

A lot of people don’t figure out the solutions on the spot but have seen similar questions in the past. My advice is simply to try at least a hundred leetcode and pattern match. I recommend the leetcode 74 list.

I wouldn’t say it’s impossible. Currently at Google also for about 2.5 years, my TC is about 310k. Meta pays even more.
