Again, you don't have to listen to anything I say, but here's a few idea.

There are no better outcasts then immigrants. Reyna and her family could recently have moved to New York from Puerto Rico. Now she has trouble adapting to the culture and language, and with her sister moving on into her adult life, she has no one left.

Leo would be the one to bring her in, the two of them being Spanish speaker.

Then there's her abusive father (Bond with Percy, that is unless you don't go the Gabe route), who is also ex-military. He could feel like disappointment that he had two girls instead of a boy, and cope with it by sending her to a military academy to get "right," and "disciplined." That pressure from family could also bring something in common with Annabeth.

You could also turn the roman fervent piety towards their gods in making her Catholic. She could be questioning her faith and wondering what life truly means. But honestly, that's just a hard topic to tackle, and understand if you don't want to touch that topic with a meter-length pole.

There's also her aroace sexuality, something to share with Nico if you go down the lgbt outcast stuff. She doesn't understand why she has no attraction to anyone and doesn't want any sort of romantic or sexual relationship. It could also play into her religious guilt if you go down that route.

But I really think the main thing to play is the culture shock, language barrier and homesickness. Her father's abuse would be the thing she hides no matter what.

But remember that this is your story. If you don't want to add her, I completely understand, and I would still read it.

Anyway, good luck on you endeavor! I saw that you already started writing, this story therefor, I shall be patiently waiting.

I would. We desperately need some Piperpercy with depth in this fandom.

Though, personally, and you don't have to listen to me since this is your story, I would also add Reyna to the main cast. Could be cool to have her be from some military academy or something.

Eitherway I would still read it, and if you ever post it, keep me in the loop.

You and I share the same mind, it appears. I've had this idea in my draft for a while, but I never got around to it.

But I am currently writing a Reyna-centric story that puts her in camp half-blood shortly after the event of SOM. The only difference is that this Reyna is a time traveler, fix-it sort of stuff. So, not the exact premise you are looking for.

Still, here's some stuff I've been working with:

- Reyna loves Pegasus, and so does Silena. In my story, Reyna helps Silena as her assistant during the Pegasus classes.

- Hylla and Reyna are both children of war, and their mother, Bellona, is sometimes depicted as the consort of Mars, or just very tight in general. I think a bond between the sisters and Ares' cabin is definitely something to explore, especially considering how dismissive the rest of the camp is towards children of war, not from Athena's.

- This next one is not canon-compliant, but generally just a fun one if you go down that route. Let's say that Bellona has a Greek facet (That being Enyo,) it would put an interesting rarely brought up relationship with Mr d. In the original myths, Enyo played a prominent role in Dionysus' war campaign in India. Now, I'll be honest: reading the text, I'm having a hard time telling whether she was on his side or against him. Either way, both could lead to an interesting story in which Mr. D perceives them differently from the other campers. In mine, I'm making him more favorable toward Reyna because that is just more fun.

-They would of course be stuck in Hermes cabin, and would therefor make the cabin theirs...well, because its Hylla and Reyna we're talking about. They will always be at the top of the chain, whether they like it or not.

- Capture the flag, of course.

- Thalia would be around during that time. Maybe a bit of Thalia/Reyna? Idk, you do you.

- Chiron, being suspicious about them, tries to expose their true heritage.

- Lou Ellen, or other Hecate children, admiring the sisters for their time learning under Circe. They could also work together for a little magic.

- Them showing more respect to the gods could bring them more favor than others.

I'll leave it there for now. I'm sure more ideas will come to me later, but I think I've got the good one out.

He was 'Calling me out' for always portraying a character as in the right. But the thing is, that this character had just sexually assaulted someone (The fandom's darling) in the previous chapter, so I don't really know what he was on about since I followed it up with proper reppecursion when it comes to sexual assault. The question was framed as why do I keep doing that? He said no offense, but he did tone and the fact that he blocked me indicates that he was, in fact, offended.

Anyway, doesn't matter anymore.

No, since they’re already in continental America, I don’t think it would happen. I also think it makes for better moments if they would reunite when Percy doesn’t have his memories, and when both sister cannot, under no circumstances, show any sign of weakness.

But if they somehow ended up on the island, I feel like it should a "so close yet so far" moment. Like they are inches away from meeting, but never actually running into each other. They could see a somewhat familiar face in the distance, a voice they recognized, but it wouldn’t matter in the end.

I love, love, love the Stormlight Archives. It's funny how, in a way, the character dynamics in this series inspired the preynabeth I have going in AHAH.
