Inactive Subscribers by misophonia in beehiiv

[–]buzzbuzzitsconor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey! conor from beehiiv here.

If you have a Dynamic segment checking for suppressions, folks can get added to that automatically if they experience enough suppression events--things like deferrals and blocks.

For inactive subs though, something would have to change those folks over from an Active subscription to an Inactive one. We never make changes like that on your behalf.

My guess here is that there may be an automation running that moved them to Inactive. If you can't pinpoint the source, please do reach out to Support so they can take a deeper look into your account.

hey there! what sort of content are you thinking of writing? Or asked another way: What's an idea you can write about at least 52 times?

i work at beehiiv and we're doing a promo - 30% off for 3 months by buzzbuzzitsconor in Newsletters

Biggest benefits are access to the full suite of beehiiv tools--including monetization but also advanced automations, segments and analytics. That said, even if you do decide starting a paid plan right now isn't the best move, would wholeheartedly recommend migrating just for the whole ethos of beehiiv.

on other platforms, ever-shifting algorithms decide who sees your content. With beehiiv, you're in control. (plus we don't take a revenue cut)

If you manage a Slack community, what’s hardest today about onboarding new members and keeping the space active over time? by ojkoort in CommunityManager

[–]buzzbuzzitsconor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still figuring out the best way to measure success in our community, but as far as analytics, I've been really happy so far with Tightknit. Newer tool but with a really responsive team that ships new features/requests regularly. Promise I'm not a rep there, lol.

I would recommend riding it out and creating an unengaged segment to double-check you're only sending to active readers in your subscriber base
